BIHC Culinary Championship After a rigorous vetting process, 12 students were deservedly selected to participate in the very first series of the BIHC Culinary Championship that took place at our BRAND NEW state-of-the-art training kitchen on 30th November 2020! The contestants were: Darius Ayanga Mesha Tarun Josinee Karemera Cassey Pepela Mohamed Ali Michelle Osedo Swabra Idd Cedric Odhiambo Marline Orwa Esther Odhier Janet Mbogo Betha Wanjiku The tight 4.5 race included preparing a 3 - course meal for blind tasting by the management team. The final dishes were graded based on menu design, flavor and taste, creativity, plating style and portion control. Ms. Josinee Karemera emerged as the winner with Mss. Swabra Idd and Betha Wanjiku as 1st and 2nd runners up respectively. Ms. Josinee will go ahead to represent the Kenya and BIHC at the 7th Young Chef Olympiad in 2021.
